Fall & Apple picking

Fall has come with conviction. The forests are changing, the trees are turning their colours and some are starting to drop their leaves. It has been a beautiful week with sunshine on the hills and cool temperatures.
This afternoon we went for a drive, ultimately to stop by at our new home. The current owners had urged us to drop in to get some of the produce out of the greenhouses before things would go bad, and to get the apples off the apple tree before the bears would get to them. They actually told us today that a bear did get attracted to the smell of the apples but that the dog chased him off with a bite to his butt.
Everything looks like the place will be ready for us to begin our move on October 1. We are excited about it. We'll see how the timing of it all will work out. We are rather busy with our day jobs.

I'm heading out to Father Pandosy, so maybe I'll have some pics for you later...
