Winter

All is well. God's world is beautiful, His grace is evident.
Friday morning, just as we were getting ready for breakfast, it started snowing. The snow kept falling all day. Saturday morning we woke to a winter wonderland.
I just can't get over how beautiful this place is. Of course, I don't have to work in it, I can appreciate it with an artist's eye.
Ian is having a wonderful time romping in the snow and playing with Sabre. This afternoon (Sunday) he has two of his friends over. They spend hours going down the hillside beside our driveway, building jumps and creating rides 'with air'.
Grandma arrived Tuesday evening. It is nice to have her stay to experience the change from 'Fall' weather to real winter. She loves our neighbourhood for the opportunity of quiet walks. With the recent amount of snow on the ground, that is just a little harder now.
The week in school has been busy. Besides the regular work a number of projects are requiring much attention and energy. Much of it regards future changes for the school's program and staffing as well as some student discipline issues.

""It will probably be gone my morning. It's the first snowfall of the year, and it's only November at that." But the snow kept on falling."

Just read that with Kiana and Nolan last week :)

That did happen last week, but this looks like the stuff that is going to stay around. It started snowing again an hour ago and the temperatures are dropping slowly.
We're good with that. ;-)
