Berries, beans and blue skin

The second week of August we laid the roofing tiles and started on the siding.
We actually had all four or five of our summer's warm and dry days during that week. The lack of heat delayed the ripening of the berries considerably. Wilma had taken all of the garden stuff in the greenhouse during the Spring and even that did not help a lot to speed up the production.
Nevertheless, some very nice food in that greenhouse. Funny how I didn't really appreciate the value of that greenhouse when we bought the place but now I'm seeing it quite clearly.
